Healthy Living Assistant

Must be a high school graduate.  3-4 days per week, approximately 20 hours.

The ideal candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable about fitness.  College hours/fitness certifications not required but pay will be based on experience and/or education.  This position will work alongside the Healthy Living Coordinator to assist members with questions, maintain equipment and aid in the implementation of programs.  Light cleaning of the fitness areas will be expected in order to provide a safe and inviting environment for all members.  Must be comfortable meeting new people and building relationships.

Welcome Center Associate

Must be a high school graduate. Up to 12 hours per week.

The Welcome Center Associate is the public’s initial contact with the Sport & Fitness Zone and is expected to communicate to members, participants and general public services, programs and events in a friendly, knowledgeable and courteous manner. The Welcome Center Associate is expected to emphasize member service, character development, and mission statement and to work with membership retention and promotion.​

Possible shifts could be opening at 4:45am Monday-Friday as well as weekends.

Childcare Associate

6-9 hours per week

The Childcare Associate is to provide quality care to children 12 weeks to 8 years of age who participate in the child-watch while the parent(s) is using the facility. The Childcare Associate is expected to emphasize member service, character development, mission statement, and to work with membership retention and promotion.

  • Must be able to reflect a positive image and attitude.

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

  • Must have certifications in Professional CPR/AED and First Aid.

Possibility of adding afternoon and weekends hours.

Lifeguard

Hours may vary depending on availability.  Daytime shifts available as well as evenings and weekends.

  • Must be able to complete tasks and take the initiative to handle situations as they arise.

  • Must posses the ability to remain calm and level-headed in emergency situations.

  • Must be 16 years old.

  • Must pass a swim test and complete an employer provided Red Cross Lifeguard course.

Certified Personal Trainer

Hours are flexible and scheduled between client and trainer. 

  • Must be passionate about fitness and helping others achieve their goals.

  • Must have the ability to maintain own schedule.

  • Must feel comfortable working with a wide range of clients of all ages and be able to adapt training based on their fitness capabilities 

  • Must possess a current personal training certification prior to hire.

  • Professional CPR/AED/First Aid required (provided) within 30 days of hire.
