Water Aerobics is an upbeat, fast-paced class designed to not only strengthen and tone, but to also build muscle and endurance. This class offers exercises designed to use the resistance of the water to incorporate cardio and strength training into one fun, refreshing hour. All levels of fitness are welcome to join us as we burn calories have a blast doing it!
This is a group recreational water-based exercise program designed specifically for people with arthritis and related diseases. Specially designed exercises help participants improve their joint flexibility, strength, balance, coordination and reduce their pain and stiffness while supported by the water’s buoyancy and resistance. Participants in an AEA class can experience a reduced level of pain, an improved ability to function independently in day-to-day life, and a decrease in feelings of isolation and depression. Classes also provide a friendly, fun atmosphere in which participants can make new friends and try new activities.
